Track salt & chemistry per pool

For guidance only. Add salt in stages with the pump running, then wait ~24 hours before re-testing. It's easier to add more than to dilute — don't overshoot your target.

How the Salt Calculation Works

Enter pool volume in litres plus the current and target salinity in ppm. Because one ppm is one milligram per litre, kilograms of salt = (target ppm − current ppm) × litres ÷ 1,000,000.

The result is shown in kilograms with an approximate count of 20 kg bags. Add salt in stages with the pump running, follow the chlorinator manufacturer's range, allow it to dissolve and retest before adding more. Use the Australian pool volume calculator if you need a litre estimate.
